One of Britain's biggest financial institutions explained how it educates its staff on cyber risk at a recent conference.
"So we spend quite a lot of time, as I'm sure do all banks, in educating both our staff and quite frankly our managers and ourselves in how cyber risk is evolving," said Michele Faull, group risk director at Nationwide Building Society.
Speaking at The European Information Security Summit 2016, she said this was a mix of keeping up to date with developments, being able to "see through the noise" and understanding which frameworks and practices actually work.
