Christmas in July: trends to look out for

Here are five companies celebrating Christmas in July who have launched products which solve customers’ problems.

  • Dropit: Dropit improves the customer experience by getting rid of the most tiresome aspect – dragging heavy shopping bags everywhere. Download the app and, if you are shopping in London’s West End, drop your bags off at a Dropit partner store and have them delivered to your home at your preferred time.
  • YourZooki: Fed up with taking unpalatable Omega 3 supplements? Zooki comes in liquid format and has been flavoured with fruits like peach, mango, strawberries and bananas. Instead of taking a capsule which tastes like fish you can mix it in with your smoothie or porridge.
  • Difference Coffee Company: Difference Coffee Company is on a mission to bring the world’s best coffee to its customers. Each bean is sourced from prestigious coffee competitions worldwide, such as the Cup of Excellence and Best of Panama. The coffee has undergone rigorous testing and is rated using a 100 point grading system, created by the Speciality Coffee Association and is in the world’s top 1 per cent.
  • Emma Bridgewater: Emma Bridgewater started her company in 1985 with her husband Matthew Rice after not being able to find a birthday present for her mum. She saw a gap in the market and decided to create her own ceramic cups and saucers. The company is known for its polka dot and Union Jack designs and is now one of the largest pottery manufacturers based in the UK.
  • Art Fund: The Art Fund is making it easier for museums and galleries to display great works of art for everyone to see and appreciate through the National Art Pass. The pass gives you free entry to more than 240 museums, galleries and historic houses across the UK as well as 50 per cent off entry to major exhibitions. The income raised through the National Art Pass is used to support museums and galleries around the UK.
