Taking an integrated approach to operational resilience and recovery after a data breach

 

It’s not if, but when. Most organisations believe that cyber-attacks are inevitable. It’s inevitable that sometimes criminals will break through infosec defences. And when that happens there is a key question that has to be asked: how quickly can you recover your business?

 

Recovery from a cyber-attack is painful, complicated and difficult. How do you know what steps to take? How can you decide on the minimum operating levels appropriate for your business? And, most importantly, how can you keep trading while recovery operations are still underway?

And we will examine how you can ensure that business continues as usual. For example, with ransomware the ability to restore data from protected backups is central to resilience. But backups are irrelevant if you don’t know how to use them.
