Workshop: Data Strategy in 2025 – Value, Pillars, & Lessons Learned

12:15 PM - 4:15 PM
Google Office 4-5 Bonhill ST. London EC2A 4BX

Join SoftServe and Google Cloud to discover why leveraging data and AI for business outcomes are today’s key business topics. Avoid being one of the:

  • 58% of companies usually or always make business-critical decisions based on inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • 73% of companies allocate funds to trendy AI initiatives instead of essential data and analytics investments.

Discover how companies can avoid mistakes by using Google Cloud and a Data Intelligence Framework.  Build a data strategy that drives ROI with innovative data and AI projects. But have some fun too!

KEY INFORMATION

Interactive Demos

Enjoy the Google AI Playground where you can test some of the fun Google demos such as AI Quick-Build. This is a game show-based demo which spotlights the Gemini model’s ability to process unstructured data instantly and generate insights as well as provide more complex reasoning after collecting and processing more data.

Or try out the Formula E Gen AI simulator.  Participants race 3 laps on the Berlin track, and their race data is uploaded to a GCS Bucket. It is then compared against a Formula E Pro racing driver who has raced the same track, from which Gemini 1.5 Pro offers coaching feedback on how to match their performance in future games.

Then there is the AI Drone Derby which is a structured enablement hackathon where teams collaborate to build a platform in Google Cloud. It is based around a model trained in Vertex AI and exported to a TPU Coral dev board acting as the Drone Control unit.

The control unit then uses this model to process the drone’s incoming video, to guide it through a series of shapes and obstacles that make the drone racecourse.

During the workshop, the subjects we will cover will include:

  • What problems can occur with data, and why is poor quality data such an issue?
  • What is data governance, and why is it important for success?
  • How should organisations use data to make decisions?
  • How should experience be balanced against a process of “following the data”?
  • Does the use of AI in a business change the rules for data governance?
  • What skills are needed to build a culture of good data governance across an organisation?

Apart from having fun with demos in Google’s AI Playground, we will examine challenges with:

  • Data governance and security
  • Data integration and innovation
  • Emerging technologies
  • Legacy systems

When you register, we will ask you for your corporate email address which we will share only with the event sponsor(s). See our privacy policy.
